As the first film in ICICI Bank's SmartLock awareness series, the objective was to transform a functional banking feature into a story audiences would genuinely want to watch. Rather than relying on conventional product demonstrations, we adopted an AI-powered animatic approach, using illustrated characters, expressive visuals and narrative storytelling to make the feature simple, memorable and engaging.

Using AI across storyboarding, character design, visual development and post-production, we created a cohesive production workflow that enabled rapid experimentation while maintaining creative consistency. The result is an explainer that simplifies a banking feature without compromising on craft, showing how AI can create communication that's both informative and emotionally engaging.
